Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with weekend, holiday, and call requirements
• 13-week assignment duration
• Must be located within 100-mile radius of facility
• Current critical care experience preferred
• Must have completed at least one successful travel assignment - new travelers will not be considered
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required
• Current New York State RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• Must complete coronary care course or challenge exam within orientation period
• Basic lethal dysrhythmia certification required within six months of employment
• NIHSS certification required within first 6 months of employment
• Provide quality patient care and assess patient needs including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspects
• Recognize safety issues and safely assess and implement patient lifts and movement
• Function effectively in stressful situations with strong problem-solving skills
• May be required to assume charge nurse duties
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate
• Maintain excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
