Description
Opportunity:
RN - IMC
Job Details:
• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Floating required to other units as needed
• Care for adult patients (18 years and older) in a 64-bed intermediate care unit with 15 designated neuro beds
• Treat patients with common diagnoses including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions, COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-operative cases
• Work with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPap, and Neptune Vapo systems
• Manage patients on chronic ventilators unable to wean with respiratory therapy assistance
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Minimum 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience required
• Travel experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Active New York nursing license required with NURSYS verification
• Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
