Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on Med Surg Oncology Unit with 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Day/Night rotations only
• 24 beds of Hematology/Oncology/Gynecology Oncology and medical surgery
• 9 beds of Hematology and Cellular Therapy
• Administer chemotherapy and manage side effects
• Care for patients receiving radiation therapy and radioisotopes
• Treat common diagnoses including lymphoma, leukemia, and ovarian cancers
• On-call responsibilities required
• Preferred experience with chest tubes, drips (Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone)
• Experience with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients preferred
• Tracheostomy and laryngectomy care experience preferred
• Telemetry monitoring experience preferred
• Complex wound care experience preferred
• Central line care, maintenance, and blood draws experience preferred
