Opportunity:
RN - ED ER
Job Details:
• Work 12.5-hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 3:00 AM
• Block scheduling may vary and is not guaranteed
• Charge capability highly preferred
• Floating to other units required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required with pediatric experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must be current)
• Active New York nursing license required
• 2 recent ED Charge/Manager RN references required
• Care for patients ranging from newborn to geriatric populations
• Handle common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Work with specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Work in 64-bed Emergency Department with 2 triage beds, 40 acute care beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma beds, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psychiatric beds

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
