RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment with 36-hour weekly guarantee
• 60-mile radius rule applies
• Current New York State RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• PALS required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• MEDITECH experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Critical care and charge experience preferred
• May be required to assume charge nurse duties
• Must successfully complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation
• Must obtain defibrillation certification within six months of employment
• Must be IV, medication and phlebotomy certified during orientation
• Ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations required
• Must possess thorough knowledge of nursing principles and ability to assess patient needs
• Must function well in stressful situations with strong problem-solving and leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required
