Opportunity:
RN - IMC
Job Details:
• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Floating to other units required
• Dress code requirement: Navy blue scrubs
• 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Active New York nursing license required with NURSYS verification
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including neurological, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions such as COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative patients
• Work with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo systems
• Manage chronic ventilator patients unable to wean with respiratory therapy assistance
• Provide care for adult patients aged 18 years and older
• Work in 64-bed unit with 15 designated neurological beds
• Block scheduling available but not guaranteed

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
