Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling available but never promised or guaranteed
• Floating required between units
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience required
• Travel experience required
• Current certifications required: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS verification
• Care for patients ages 18 years and older
• Work in 64-bed unit with 15 designated neuro beds
• Manage common diagnoses including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions, COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative patients
• Work with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo systems
• Handle chronic ventilator patients unable to wean with respiratory therapy assistance
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• RTO must be included at time of submission
