Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week for 13-week assignment
• Weekend, holiday, and call requirements
• Float to multiple units including Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, and Pediatrics
• Must be comfortable with floating responsibilities across various departments
• Coronary care experience required
• Must have completed at least one successful travel assignment - first-time travelers not considered
• Current New York nursing license required
• Graduate from accredited School of Nursing required
• Previous hospital RN experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must possess thorough knowledge of nursing principles and ability to provide quality patient care
• Ability to assess patient needs including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspects
• Must recognize safety issues and implement proper lifting techniques for patient mobility
• Must function well in stressful situations with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate
• May assume charge nurse duties when required
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required
• Experience with MEDITECH charting system
