RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment with 36-hour weekly guarantee
• Must reside within 60-mile radius of facility
• Current New York State RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (PALS must be obtained within 6 months of hire if not current)
• MEDITECH experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Critical care and charge experience preferred
• Must complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation and obtain defibrillation certification within six months
• Must obtain IV, medication, and phlebotomy certification during orientation
• Ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations required
• Must function well in stressful situations with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate
• May be required to assume charge nurse duties
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required
• Must recognize safety issues and safely use lifts to move patients
• Provide quality patient care and assess clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs
