RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Charge capability highly preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 2+ years of emergency department experience required with some pediatric experience
• Travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Active New York nursing license required with NURSYS verification
• Must be comfortable treating patients ranging from newborn to geriatric populations
• Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Work with specialty equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun
• Unit consists of 64 beds: 2 triage, 40 acute care, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 clinical decision unit, and 6 psychiatric beds
