RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 8-week assignment with June 15th start date
• Block scheduling available but never promised or guaranteed
• Charge capability highly preferred
• Floating to other units required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 2+ years of emergency department experience required with some pediatrics experience
• Travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Active New York nursing license required with NURSYS verification
• Treat patients with common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Work with specialty equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun
• Care for patients of all ages: newborn, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric populations
• Work in 64-bed emergency department with 2 triage areas, 40 acute beds, 6 super track, 2 trauma bays, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds
