RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 3:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Charge capability highly preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 2+ years of emergency department experience required with some pediatric experience
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Active New York nursing license required with NURSYS report verification
• Care for patients ranging from newborn to geriatric populations
• Handle common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Utilize specialty equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun
• Work in 64-bed emergency department with 2 triage areas, 40 acute beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma bays, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psych beds
