RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 3:00 AM
• Floating to other units required
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required with some pediatrics experience
• Travel experience documentation required
• Current certifications required: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS report for license verification
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• Work in 64-bed Emergency Department with 2 triage beds, 40 acute beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma beds, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psych beds
• Care for patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics
• Handle common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Operate specialty equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
