RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on high acuity surgery trauma floor
• Must be willing to work assigned shifts with no block scheduling available
• Care for patient population including spinal neuro trauma surgical patients, gunshot victims, quadriplegic and paraplegic patients
• Maintain 5:1 patient ratio with nursing support from techs
• Phlebotomist services available on unit
• Unit secretary support provided during night shifts
• Participate in nurse handoff process with ED nurses and admitting unit
• BLS certification required, ACLS certification preferred
• EPIC electronic medical record system experience required
• No RTO (Refused Time Off) policy in effect
• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical surgical specialty required
