Opportunity:
CT Technologist - CT Tech
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with call responsibilities as needed
• Be on call one day per week every other week (sometimes back-to-back weeks) during weekdays
• Weekend call (Saturday & Sunday) rotation every six weeks
• 30-minute response time for call situations
• Average caseload of 15 patients per day
• Two-week orientation period required
• Work with team members during day shifts but may work independently on holidays
• Perform routine CT studies as well as angiogram studies including cardiac procedures
• Operate Canon (Toshiba) scanners - one 640 slice and one 320 slice
• Inject contrast through IV and start IVs as required
• Must have CT registry and minimum 2 years of experience (5 years preferred)
• Required certifications: ARRT Cert Verification, BLS
• Must test negative for nicotine
• Must be able to pass fitness test
• Black scrubs required
• Call responsibilities include backing up technologists working their shifts for emergencies or call-ins

This facility is a 359-bed Level 1 trauma center and teaching hospital that serves as one of the 10 largest pediatric medical providers in the United States. As the only pediatric medical center in Arkansas, it features a Level 4 NICU and maintains a progressive, passionate staff with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. The hospital operates with a fast-paced, team-based work culture and is known for being very traveler-friendly. The CT department is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide comprehensive imaging services.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
