Opportunity:

Perfusionist - Perfusionist

Job Details:

• Work 4 ten-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• On-call requirement every third weekend
• Minimum 5 years of experience required with 1 year recent experience in a Level 3 Trauma facility
• Prior travel experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to operate POC devices
• High school diploma or college degree required for CAPS certification
• Required certifications: BLS and ABCP (American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion)
• Tennessee Clinical Perfusionist License required
• Work with pediatric congenital heart patients ages 0-21 years
• No ECMO procedures, occasional VAD procedures including pedimag/centrimag, heartmate III and berlin
• Operate perfusion equipment including Spectrum HLM, Hepcon HMS, Frensenius CATS Cell Saver, Hemochron Jr. ACT, CardioQuip Heater Coolers
• Work with VAD equipment: Centrimag/Pedimag, Heartmate III, Berlin
• Perfusion department runs an N+1 model (n = rooms)
• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
• Float assignments not required
