Opportunity:

Perfusionist - Perfusionist

Job Details:

• Work 4-10 hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Take call every 3rd weekend
• Minimum 5 years of perfusion experience required with 1 year recent experience in a Level 3 Trauma facility
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred but not required
• Prior travel experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to operate POC devices
• Work with pediatric congenital heart patients ages 0-21 years
• Handle cases including occasional VAD procedures (pedimag/centrimag, heartmate III and berlin) but no ECMO
• Operate under perfusion N+1 model (n = rooms)
• Work with specialized equipment including Spectrum HLM, Hepcon HMS, Frensenius CATS Cell Saver, Hemochron Jr. ACT, CardioQuip Heater Coolers
• Handle various VAD systems: Centrimag/Pedimag, Heartmate III, Berlin
• High school diploma or college degree required for CAPS certification
• Required certifications: BLS, ABCP (American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion)
• Tennessee Clinical Perfusionist License required
• Orientation occurs on Mondays
• Float requirements: No
