Description

RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Open Heart

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with variable days
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract duration
• Holidays and weekends required
• Must be open to floating to other units
• No block scheduling available
• Care for diverse range of pediatric acute care patients, including complex cases in PCICU and PICU
• Travel staff must be prepared to float before staff RNs during float period
• At least 3 years Level 2/3 PCICU (open heart PICU) experience required
• Must have open heart PICU (PCICU) RN experience listed in work history
• Prior travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS at time of submission
• Must have recent EPIC experience
• Florida or compact RN license required
• No work history gaps over 30 days without explanation
• At least 1 reference dated no more than 12 months old required
• Must pass basic specialty test and EKG test with 80% passing score
• 100% of lethal rhythms must be identified correctly on EKG exam
• Unit manager interviews required
• Proof of flu vaccine or medical exemption required upon offer
• 50-mile radius rule applies - no local candidates
• Maximum 6 days RTO submission for 13-week contract
• No RTO allowed first 2 weeks of assignment

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
