RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week with days off on a rotational basis
• Days during the week will vary depending on unit needs - block schedule not available
• Weekend call rotation per 6-week staff schedule once established
• Weekend call runs Saturday 6:30 AM through Monday 6:30 AM (48-hour period)
• May be required to work late to finish cases
• Minimum 2 years CVOR experience required
• 2 years pediatric experience required
• Circulating experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Level I trauma hospital experience in similar setting required
• Patient population includes ages 0-18 (with possible adult patients)
• Work with surgical patients across all services: ophthalmology (cataracts, vitrectomies, retina), general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, urology, plastics, and burns
• Float to any unit where competent (all services except cardiac and GI) when no need on assigned unit
• Required certifications: BLS and PALS
• Scrubs provided by hospital linen services
• Orientation dates: 6/15, 6/22, 6/29

This 300-bed pediatric medical center features 16 operating room beds and serves as a Level I trauma hospital. The facility provides comprehensive perioperative services and specializes in pediatric care across multiple surgical specialties.
