Opportunity:
RN - CVICU
Job Details:
• Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit with varied work schedule
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• Possible float to support units as needed
• Current RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Provide direct patient care utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other licensed nurses and personnel
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately and timely
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities
• Physical demands include ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand, walk, bend frequently, and use proper body mechanics
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area through annual validations

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
