Opportunity:
RN - CVICU
Job Details:
• Work varied schedule with weekend and holiday rotation requirements
• Possible float assignments to support other units as needed
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for cardiovascular intensive care patients
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate care activities, and delegate appropriately to healthcare team members
• Document all nursing assessments, interventions and patient responses in compliance with policies and standards
• Supervise and provide direction to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Participate in patient and family education, staff orientation and professional development activities
• Maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
• Current RN license required with BLS certification
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience in specialty area within past 12 months required
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to patient care emergencies
• Requires adequate hearing, visual acuity, fine motor skills and ability to communicate effectively

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
