RN - CVOR

Job Details:

• Opening with a varied work schedule
• Call required
• Minimum one year RN experience required
• Must possess current, valid RN license in Arizona or compact licensure
• BLS certification required
• Professional certification preferred
• One year of operating room and/or cardiovascular or vascular experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area
• Assist physicians with advanced tasks during surgical procedures
• Operate cardiopulmonary bypass/heart-lung machine
• Support trans-esophageal echocardiogram studies
• Manage cardiac output assistive devices and vascular access interventions
• Perform and interpret various cardiac and vascular lab tests
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Participate in education, role development, and orientation of personnel
• May be required to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Requires fine motor skills and adequate eye-hand coordination
• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
