Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Varied work schedule with flexible hours
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies
• Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan appropriate care
• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate comprehensive plans of care including discharge planning utilizing assessment data
• Implement care plans through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Provide care based on best evidence available and participate in research activities
• Interact with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, families and external contacts
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel in quality care delivery
• Must possess current valid RN license in state of practice or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required for travel positions
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
