Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Varied work schedule with weekend and holiday rotation required
• Possible call shifts and float to support other units as needed
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for cardiovascular intensive care patients
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate care activities, and supervise healthcare team members
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, revising care plans as needed based on patient response
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in accordance with facility policies
• Participate in patient and family education, mentoring, and professional development activities
• Current valid RN license required with BLS certification
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required, with experience in specialty area within past 12 months
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in direct patient care environment
• Must demonstrate core behaviors focused on people-centered, service excellence
