Opportunity:
RN - PACU
Job Details:
• Work varied schedule with weekends and holidays required
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for post-anesthesia patients
• Monitor patients recovering from surgery and anesthesia procedures
• Complete patient assessments and reassessments according to policy and patient needs
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care including discharge planning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Evaluate patient progress towards goals and expected outcomes
• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other licensed personnel
• Current valid RN license in state of practice or compact RN licensure required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse required
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics for patient transfers
• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
