Description
Opportunity:
RN - PACU
Job Details:
• Work flexible start times of either 11:00 AM or 1:00 PM based on scheduled cases
• Monday through Friday schedule with varying days off
• 5-6 call shifts per 4-week schedule
• Must have minimum 2 years PACU experience and previous travel experience required
• Fast-paced environment requiring ability to work both pre-op and PACU
• Current valid RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients
• Review patient history and physical with patients/families
• Monitor diagnostics and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians
• Formulate comprehensive care plans including discharge planning
• Delegate and supervise activities of healthcare team members
• Provide direct patient care based on physician orders and nursing care plans
• Document all assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Participate in education and orientation of facility personnel and students
• Maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to area of practice

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
