Description

Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work as part of the Resource Float Pool team across two campus locations
• Float between various units including Observation (two teams), Med Surg (four units), and PCU (12 units)
• Occasionally may float to ED or PACU for adult health patients with inpatient orders
• Travel between BUMC-Tucson (600+ bed Level I Trauma) and BUMC-South (10-minute drive between locations)
• Varied work schedule
• Previous travel experience required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Must have worked in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Current, valid RN license required (state license, temporary/interim license, or compact licensure)
• BLS certification required
• Must assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care according to professional standards
• Responsible for quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under direction
• Provide care for patients ranging from observation to progressive care unit levels
• Document all assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other personnel
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
