Description

Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Float between two emergency departments: Tucson Campus Level I Trauma and South Campus Level IV
• Varied work schedule with 12-hour shifts
• Minimum 2 years recent ED RN experience required
• Prior experience in Level I Trauma Center required
• Experience in 500+ bed hospital preferred
• Prior travel experience required
• Required certifications: PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, BLS, and current RN license
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Complete patient assessments and reassessments according to patient need and policy requirements
• Formulate discharge plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Document patient care activities in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements
• Provide care for trauma patients and emergency medical situations
• May be required to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics for patient transfers
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies and participate in annual validations

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
