Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work in Progressive Care Unit handling medical-surgical patients, SNF and LTAC transfers, and end-of-life care patients
• Varied work schedule
• Floating requirements to other MS or PCU units with unit-appropriate assignments
• Must have 2 years of PCU experience and prior travel experience required
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately and timely
• Participate in patient and family education
• Current valid RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required with experience in specialty area within past 12 months
