Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Provide nursing care for cardiac medical-surgical and progressive care unit patients
• Must be proficient in caring for mixed acuity patients including up to 6 medical-surgical level patients
• Required to read and monitor telemetry
• Based at BFC with expectation to float to other PCU/M/S units at NCMC or Loveland Campus as needed
• Work every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation
• Varied work schedule assignment
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Delegate and supervise activities of healthcare team members
• Document care accurately and timely according to policy requirements
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities
• Current RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience in specialty area within past 12 months required
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
