RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work varied schedule in cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Required to wear teal scrubs
• Must have experience in scrubbing procedures
• Current, valid RN license required (state of practice, temporary/interim, or compact licensure)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Recent experience within past 12 months as Registered Nurse in specialty area required
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for cardiac catheterization patients
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Review patient history, diagnostics and laboratory data
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Provide patient and family education
• Must possess physical agility and adequate reaction time for emergency situations
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
