Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in intensive care unit setting
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• Possible call and float to support units
• Varied work schedule with flexible assignments
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Conduct patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Formulate individualized plans of care including discharge planning
• Implement care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching
• Document all nursing activities in patient records accurately and timely
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Provide patient and family education
• Participate in unit shared leadership and quality improvement initiatives
• Current valid RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in specialty area within past 12 months required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
