Opportunity:
RN - ED
Job Details:
• Work in Level I Trauma Center emergency department
• Minimum 2 years recent ED RN experience required
• Experience in 500+ bed hospital preferred
• Must have prior travel experience
• Required certifications: PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and BLS
• May take overflow inpatient holds in the ED on rotating basis with other travelers and core staff
• Varied work schedule
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care according to organizational policies
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and revise plans as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Provide care based on physician orders and nursing plans while ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching frequently and ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies and annual validations

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
