RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in intensive care unit with varied work schedule
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• Possible call and float to support units
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care according to organizational policies
• Provide direct patient care utilizing specialized knowledge and nursing skills
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and developmental needs
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Delegate appropriately and provide supervision to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Document all care activities legibly and timely in patient records
• Participate in unit shared leadership and education of personnel
• Must possess current valid RN license in state of practice
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to ICU setting
