RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work varied schedule with weekend and holiday rotation requirements
• Possible call and float responsibilities to support other units
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for ICU patients
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans based on assessment data and patient-specific needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Document all care provided in patient records in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Maintain current Arizona RN license or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification required
• Must have minimum one year acute care hospital experience in specialty area
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in direct patient care environment
