Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Provide nursing care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit with focus on direct open-heart recovery
• Experience with Impella and balloon pump devices preferred
• Work varied schedule including weekends and holidays
• Float per department guidelines as needed
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other healthcare team members
• Document care accurately and timely in patient records
• Participate in patient and family education
• Maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to cardiovascular intensive care
• Current valid RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years CVICU experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
