RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work with a varied work schedule including weekend and holiday rotation
• Possible call requirements and floating to support other units as needed
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for ICU patients
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate individualized care plans utilizing assessment data and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Implement care plans through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records according to policy
• Provide supervision and direction to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities
• Current valid RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required with experience in specialty area within past 12 months
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
