RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour shifts with varying days of the week
• Float between South Campus and Tucson Campus
• Call required - 5-8 call shifts including late call, overnights, and weekends
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Phillips imaging and Phillips Xper-hemodynamics equipment experience preferred
• Cath Lab with EP (electrophysiology) experience preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Current RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area
• Minimum of one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Use proper body mechanics to assist patients and may be required to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
