RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work varied schedule in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate care, and supervise healthcare team activities
• Document assessment findings, nursing interventions, and patient responses in medical records
• Monitor patient progress and evaluate effectiveness of treatments and interventions
• Provide patient and family education and evaluate response to teaching
• Must maintain current valid RN license in state of practice
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• ICU and/or cardiovascular experience preferred
• Must demonstrate clinical competencies appropriate to PACU practice
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to patient care needs
