Opportunity:
RN - CVOR Adult
Job Details:
• Day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (shift starts at 6:00 AM)
• Call required - 7 shifts in a 6-week schedule including one weekend
• Weekday and weekend call rotated among 3 cardiac/thoracic nurses
• Work in 2 cardiac/thoracic operating rooms within 22 total operating rooms
• 1:1 nurse to patient ratio
• Perform open heart procedures, pacemaker insertions, laser lead extractions, VATS, and thoracotomy procedures
• Utilize computerized charting (Surginet) and TMR laser equipment
• OR scrubs provided
• 3 years cardiac/thoracic nursing experience required
• Georgia or compact state nursing license required
• BLS through AHA certification required
• Recent level 1 or level 2 trauma experience required
• Two-week orientation program with nurse educator and cardiac/thoracic charge nurse
• No floating to other units required

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
