Opportunity:

RN - Circulator OR

Job Details:

• Work 4-10 hour shifts per week from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• 2-3 late shift requirements per month from 5:15 PM to 7:00 PM
• Call required approximately 1 shift per week and 1 weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) per month for total of 5 days per month
• Work independently during call and weekend shifts acting as Lead or Charge Nurse
• Circulate for various surgical procedures including General, Ortho, Neuro, Podiatry, GYN, Thoracic, and Endocrine
• Coordinate patient transfers for Pre-OP workup and provide Intra-OP circulation
• Function as secondary PACU RN for final patient of day and stay until patient discharge
• Maintain 1:1 nurse to patient ratio
• Work with Pyxis medication system and Meditech charting system
• Utilize robotics and specialized equipment for various surgical specialties
• Book cases and coordinate care during call shifts
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• Minimum 2 years recent experience as OR Circulator within past 6 months required
• Current Arizona RN license or compact state license required
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) certification required
• Basic EKG competency required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Surgical scrubs provided, closed-toe shoes required
• 1 day hospital orientation plus 1-3 OR shifts based on need
