Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Wednesday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call responsibilities required 1 day per week
• Weekend day shifts and weeknight evening call coverage
• Work independently without supervision
• Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT, CRT, BLS (AHA)
• Graduate of Radiologic Technologist program required
• MRI Certification through ARRT required within one year if cross-training
• Dress code: Ceil Blue Scrubs
• Perform various MRI procedures including abdominal MRA/MRV, head/neck/spines, upper/lower extremities, chest/breast, MRCP, and Gradient Echo Imaging
• Operate 1.5T and 3T GE LX scanners with level 23 software
• Work with Meditech, UV PACS systems
• Perform advanced MRI angiography including bilateral run-offs and required reformatting
• Monitor patients during procedures and document exam times and patient reactions
• Evaluate lab values prior to administering contrast media
• Apply AIDET principles and maintain patient satisfaction standards
• Participate in department meetings and continuous process improvement initiatives

The facility emphasizes evidence-based care and maintains high standards for diagnostic imaging services. The organization provides structured training and orientation programs with lead technologists to ensure proficiency with equipment and protocols before independent practice.
