RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Specialize in perioperative nursing practice for pre-anesthesia and post-anesthesia care
• Provide Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia care for surgical patients
• Monitor local anesthesia patients in the operating room
• Provide sedation for various procedures
• Ensure quality care through utilization of nursing process and established standards
• Act as patient advocate and supervise assigned personnel
• Participate in regular scheduled on-call rotation for Post-Anesthesia Unit
• Follow hospital policies and procedures while supporting organizational mission and values
• Responsible for direction and supervision of assigned staff members
