Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Provide diagnostic imaging services to patients using various imaging modalities
• Perform CT scans, X-ray, and Fluoroscopy procedures with C-arm and OR work
• Execute all exams based on Imaging Department Protocols or protocol with Radiologist
• Practice radiation safety adhering to ALARA standards
• Operate equipment consistent with manufacturer's recommendations
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and call service engineers when needed
• Verify exam orders and identify patients through two means of identification
• Review and document patient medical history and obtain informed consent
• Maintain accurate patient records in EHR including procedure and supply charging
• Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other modalities and adjusting schedules
• Take call, overtime, or holiday shifts as needed
• Assist with clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation when required
• Order, stock, and maintain supply inventory
• Must be self-motivated with ability to work with minimum supervision
• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technologist program required
• ARRT registration in Radiology (R) required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Prior experience as practicing Radiologic Technologist preferred
• Cross-training in CT, MRI, DEXA, and Mammography preferred
• Experience with electronic records including PACS and RIS/HIS preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
