Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Perform various radiographic procedures including general diagnostic, portable, bedside, and Computed Tomography (CT) exams
• Operate radiographic and computed tomography equipment within the department
• Utilize portable and C-Arm equipment in hospital and operating room settings
• Read requisitions and determine areas of interest, referring to exam guidelines for necessary views
• Use practical knowledge of anatomy for proper positioning to obtain optimum image quality
• Assess patient conditions and communicate with patients using age-appropriate language
• Review images for quality and proper positioning, repeating views as necessary
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and wear monitoring devices at all times
• Draw up contrast media according to CT protocols and inspect for expiration dates
• Complete online forms for exam documentation and billing accuracy
• Maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines
• At least three years of imaging experience with CT experience required
• Must maintain current Washington State DOH Certified Radiologic Technologist license
• ARRT (R) registration required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and continuing education as required
