Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday and Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM schedule
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Perform general diagnostic, portable, bedside, and Computed Tomography (CT) exams
• Work independently without constant supervision
• At least three years of imaging experience required with CT experience mandatory
• Current Washington State DOH Certified Radiologic Technologist license required
• ARRT (R) registration required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Operate radiographic and computed tomography equipment within department
• Utilize portable and C-Arm equipment in hospital and operating room settings
• Follow ALARA principles to maintain lowest radiation doses possible
• Perform patient positioning and technical factor selection based on anatomy and physiology
• Draw contrast media and prepare IV solutions using sterile technique
• Review images for quality and positioning, repeating studies when necessary
• Maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines
• Document exam procedures and communicate with radiologists and referring providers
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintain safety standards
