RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Orthopedic Adult

Job Details:

• Responsible to the Unit Director/Manager for overall nursing practice during assigned shift
• In absence of Unit Director/Manager, reports to Clinical Supervisor, Charge Nurse or Clinical Coordinator
• Provide professional nursing care based on current nursing knowledge through use of the nursing process
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care
• Implement nursing measures and evaluate effectiveness of nursing care and treatment measures
• 2 years of previous RN experience required
• Preference given to candidates with EPIC patient charting experience
• Pennsylvania RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - must meet American Heart Association Healthcare Provider standards
• BLS certification must be renewed every two years
• Must function effectively as team member and liaison between patient and staff
• Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills required
• Must demonstrate high level of mental and emotional tolerance when dealing with patients
• Professional attitude and sound judgment required when relating with patients, families, and co-workers
