Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 36 hours per week on night shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Multi-modality technologist position for night shift coverage
• ARRT registration required in both Radiography and CT
• Wisconsin DSPS radiographer license required
• AHA Provider BLS/CPR certification required
• Maintain active status in all practicing modalities
• Provide clinical leadership and complete advanced level clinical duties
• Demonstrate competency in all exams performed within assigned modalities
• Corroborate patient clinical history with procedures and ensure proper documentation
• Prepare patients for procedures with clear instructions to minimize anxiety
• Select and operate imaging equipment, image capture devices, and accessories
• Position patients to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest while respecting comfort
• Practice aseptic technique and administer contrast media when appropriate
• Start and maintain intravenous access as needed
• Initiate basic life support actions when necessary
• Provide patient education and practical instruction for students and partners
• Maintain inventory control and provide input for supply and equipment decisions
• Follow universal protocol, standard precautions, and appropriate patient identifiers
