RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work three to four 10-hour shifts per week
• Call responsibilities include 1-2 days call per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks
• Function as a professional member of the surgical team within the Surgical Services Department
• Plan, organize, direct, execute and evaluate all aspects of patient care during pre-operative and post-operative phases
• Monitor physiological patient responses in all phases of pre and post-operative care
• Maintain proficiency and competency reflecting current nursing practice standards
• Follow professional practice standards, guidelines, relevant statutes, rules and regulations
• Complete required training, education, and orientation to new procedures and processes
• Colorado adult protective services (CAPS) check required
• Must have access to reliable transportation as public transportation is not available in rural area
