RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Adult

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend and holiday requirement
• Current Wisconsin license required
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Flu vaccination required
• May be required to float to other units
• Utilize nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques and policies
• Document according to standards of care
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care
• Participate in department performance improvement activities and shared governance
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support longitudinal patient care
• Utilize critical thinking for patient safety and experience with appropriate escalation procedures
• Experience with adult medical surgical nursing preferred
