Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Full-time position working 40 hours per week
• Day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Perform Computed Tomography exams with and without power contrast injections
• Utilize appropriate technical factors including kvp, ma, time and distance
• Follow proper positioning techniques and radiologist protocols
• Administer contrast media when appropriate and maintain proficiency in starting IVs
• Transport, transfer and position patients safely
• Maintain accurate patient and image documentation in HIS/RIS and PACS systems
• May be assigned on-call standby shifts as needed by the department
• Act as mentor to students from affiliated Radiology Technology Programs
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists RT(R) (CT) certification required
• Minimum of two years experience in hospital setting preferred
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level must be completed within three months of hire
• Must demonstrate competency on department-specific equipment checklist
• Physical requirements include occasional heavy lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent standing/walking
• Up to 24 hours of call off available to the facility at no cost during assignment
